Our Journey

From inception, there has been series of school inspections by the Directorate of Policy and Implementation (DPI), Inspection Unit of the Federal Ministry of Education as well as the Educational Resource Centre (ERC) to monitor and improve the school curriculum and facilities. On the 13^th of February 2012, the school received a recognition inspection result from ERC with an approval of 15 recommended subjects while an examination accreditation approval was given by the National Examination Council (NECO) officials led by Mr. Mustapha K. A. on the 16^th of February, 2012. This translated to qualification of the school to register students for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) as a centre.

Working towards the realization of the mission of the Academy, the school organized its first parent’s forum on the 6^th of February, 2010 to enlighten parents on their roles towards the academic achievement of their children.

The PTA was instituted in September 2011 and 14 pioneer executive members were elected with Pastor Ben Irabor as the chairman and Mr. J. P. Ovuovbowori as the secretary. Furthermore, orientation program especially for new parents has become a regular event at the beginning of every session to create an interactive forum both for the parents and the school.
