Our History

The pioneer student was admitted into the junior secondary school in November 2009 in the person of Master Dennis Michael and this was followed by the enrollment of another student in January 2010. By the end of the 2009/2010 session, a total of 5 students had enrolled into the school while 33 and 36 students were enrolled in the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 academic session respectively.

The school opened for the primary department on the 27^th of April, 2010 with Master Nic Brian Okoko as the pioneer pupil and Mrs. Joy Oludele as the first teacher. Enrollment into the primary department had also been on the increase.

Lordswill Academy kicked off with 7 pioneer teaching staff and 3 NYSC members with Mrs. Nkem Azuwike acting as the first principal of the school. The teaching staff participated in various capacity building workshops organized at different times to enhance productivity. The school has continuously been blessed with seasoned, dedicated, disciplined and industrious administrators and an equally highly trained, skilled and experienced teaching staff.
